Jamestown Community College to Host 2024 NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Division III Golf Championships

Jamestown Community College is gearing up to host the 2024 NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Division III Golf Championships from June 4-7 at Chautauqua Golf Club. The event will kick off with practice rounds on June 3 as 99 golfers from 25 schools across 12 different states and 10 regions of athletic competition prepare to compete on the Lake Course.

This year’s tournament will feature a record-breaking 15 women competitors, hailing from five different states and eight institutions. Among the participants are four returning All-Americans on the men’s side, including defending champion Ben Read from Sandhills CC. On the women’s side, four returning All-Americans will also be vying for the top spot.

Jamestown CC, which finished fourth in the nation last year, will have five golfers competing in the tournament, including Brady Fye, the defending Region 3 champion. Fye narrowly missed All-American status last year and will be looking to make his mark on the leaderboard this time around.

The Jayhawks have a strong history in the tournament, with their best finish coming in 2000 when they clinched the Division III championship. Fans can follow all the action on the JCC Jayhawks website for more information on the tournament.

With a competitive field and high stakes on the line, the 2024 NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Division III Golf Championships are sure to be an exciting event for players and spectators alike.
