Southwest Side native Bill Truesdale, a fitness advocate and champion athlete, is currently in the running to be named Mr. Health & Fitness in a national contest. The contest, which includes a $20,000 award and a feature in Muscle & Fitness magazine, aims to raise funds for the Andrew McDonough Be Positive (B+) Foundation. This non-profit organization provides financial assistance to families of children fighting cancer and funds scientific research to treat, cure, and prevent cancer in children.
Truesdale, who grew up in the Scottsdale neighborhood and attended Bogan High School, has dedicated his life to fitness and helping others live healthier lives.
