Reading Time: < 1 minute

Indie rock band Charly Bliss has just released their latest single, “Calling You Out,” along with a music video directed by Adam Kolodny. The song is a preview of their upcoming album, FOREVER, set to be released on August 16 through Lucky Number. The video draws inspiration from the iconic Beastie Boys music video for “Shake Your Rump” and Wong Kar-wai’s film Fallen Angels.

Band member Eva Hendricks opens up about the inspiration behind the song, revealing her struggles with jealousy in past relationships. She reflects on her initial skepticism in her current relationship, trying to find flaws and protect herself from potential heartbreak. However, she ultimately realizes that there is no catch and allows herself to fully embrace the love she has found.

In addition to the new single, Charly Bliss has announced a headline tour in the fall, with tickets going on sale tomorrow, Friday May 31 at 10 a.m. local time through the band’s website. The tour will kick off in Washington, DC and include stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Denver, Santa Ana, and other cities before concluding in Philadelphia.

Fans can catch Charly Bliss live on stage, performing tracks from their upcoming album and experiencing their energetic and captivating live show. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see one of indie rock’s rising stars in person.
