Charter Communications has made a bold move in the world of cable television with the introduction of Spectrum TV Stream, a new virtual skinny bundle that offers over 90 entertainment and news-themed channels for just $39.99 a month. This comes after a tough negotiation with Disney last fall, where Charter fought for more flexibility in channel bundling.

The bundle includes popular channels such as A&E, AMC, CNN, Discovery, Fox News, and National Geographic, but notably excludes ESPN and ABC. In addition to Spectrum TV Stream, Charter also launched Spectrum Stream Latino, a package that includes 45 Spanish-language channels for $24.99 a month.

Both skinny bundles can be streamed through the Spectrum TV App on various platforms including iOS and Android devices, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. This move by Charter comes as the company aims to provide more affordable and customizable options for its customers in the ever-evolving landscape of television consumption.

Sharon Peters, executive VP and chief marketing officer for Charter, expressed the company’s commitment to offering high-value streaming packages that cater to the diverse preferences of their customers. Spectrum TV Stream and Stream Latino are just the latest additions to Charter’s lineup, positioning the cable operator as a major player in the competitive streaming market.
