The Chautauqua County Music Teachers Association’s annual Spring All-County Concert is set to make a grand return this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the renovated Chautauqua Amphitheater. This highly anticipated concert will showcase the county’s top student musicians from twenty school districts in Chautauqua County, performing in various music ensembles.

The concert lineup includes the Elementary All-County Orchestra, Elementary, Junior, and Senior All-County Choruses, and the Junior and Senior All-County Bands. The highlight of the evening will be a combined finale featuring all junior and senior groups, performing a powerful rendition of Wilhousky’s arrangement of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”

Students selected for these ensembles go through a rigorous process, starting with their school’s music teacher and culminating in final selections made by the CCMTA chairpeople. The concert will be conducted by a lineup of talented individuals, including guest conductor Anne Dolce, a retired music educator with an impressive background in music education.

The concert, which lasts under two hours, is the result of months of preparation and rehearsals by the dedicated student musicians. Tickets for the event can be purchased online or at the door, with adult tickets priced at $5 and children under 5 admitted for free. Parking in the institution’s main lot will also be free for concert attendees.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness the musical talents of Chautauqua County’s finest student musicians at the Spring All-County Concert this Saturday. It promises to be a night filled with exceptional performances and a memorable finale that will leave the audience in awe.
