Padma Vibhushan awardee and popular actor Chiranjeevi exercised his democratic right by casting his vote at the polling booth in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on Monday. Accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela, Chiranjeevi arrived at the designated polling station to participate in the ongoing Lok Sabha election.
The fourth phase of the Lok Sabha election is currently underway, with polling taking place from 7 am to 6 pm across all Lok Sabha constituencies as well as for assembly seats. A total of 96 Parliamentary Constituencies are participating in this phase, including 25 from Andhra Pradesh, 17 from Telangana, and 13 from Uttar Pradesh.
Simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls, polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha has also commenced. The election fever is running high as leaders from various political parties are contesting in key constituencies, including AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and TMC leader Mahua Moitra.
Chiranjeevi’s participation in the voting process not only sets an example for his fans and followers but also highlights the importance of exercising one’s right to vote in a democratic setup.
