CHTA’s Caribbean Travel Forum 2024: Envisioning a Fresh Tourism Future for the Region

The Caribbean Travel Forum, part of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace in Montego Bay, Jamaica, is set to kick off on Monday, May 20, with a focus on new strategies for enhancing tourism in the region. Organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), the forum aims to bring together top industry leaders to discuss business opportunities and strategies for success in the Caribbean, a key player in the global travel industry.

The event will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers, including renowned travel writer Doug Lansky, who will deliver the keynote address. Lansky, known for his expertise in destination development, will share insights on navigating the evolving landscape of Caribbean tourism. Additionally, CHTA President Nicola Madden-Greig will present the “State of the Industry” address, highlighting key data and insights from the association’s annual Performance and Outlook Survey.

The forum will cover a range of topics essential to the success of the region’s tourism industry, such as leveraging data insights, enhancing marketing strategies, and harnessing technology for innovation.
