The Weir High softball team showcased their offensive prowess in a dominant 15-0 victory over city-rival Madonna in the annual City Championship Game. The Red Riders recorded 13 hits, including two home runs, to secure the win in just four innings.

Head coach John Leary attributed the team’s success to the warmer weather, which seemed to energize the players after a chilly weekend in Tennessee. All 12 players who batted for Weir reached safely or had an RBI, showcasing the team’s depth and power at the plate.
