ESPN is set to give WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark’s debut game with the Indiana Fever some extra special treatment by streaming it on both ESPN+ and Disney+. This marks the first time that traditional sportscasts will be available on the Disney+ platform, which has previously focused on animated alternate presentations of NHL games. The game will also be aired on ESPN2 for those who prefer linear coverage.

In other sports news, the long-standing studio show NASCAR Race Hub is coming to an end after its final episode on June 11. The show, which has been on air since 2009, was the last remaining program from the Speed Channel era on FS1. This cancellation follows a trend of other long-running studio shows, with reports indicating that NFL Network’s NFL Total Access will also be discontinued after a 20-year run.

On a brighter note, former NBC NASCAR analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr. has officially joined Amazon and TNT Sports for the upcoming season. Earnhardt Jr. will be taking on the role of in-booth analyst for the networks, as well as conducting interviews for a new Bleacher Report series where he will interview guests while driving them around the track. Additionally, Earnhardt Jr. will have other roles with Amazon that have yet to be specified.

With Amazon and TNT set to broadcast a combined ten Cup Series races per year starting next season, fans can look forward to seeing Earnhardt Jr. in action in his new roles.
