Colby Covington refutes claims of UFC offering him Ian Machado fight: ‘He’s a liar and a cuck’

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The proposed fight between Colby Covington and Ian Machado Garry may still be a distant dream, as Covington denies any knowledge of the UFC offering him the matchup. In a recent interview on The Rush podcast, Covington called Garry a liar for claiming that the fight had been presented to both of them.

Covington, who hasn’t stepped into the octagon since his loss to UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards in December, expressed his frustration with Garry’s callout tactics. He listed a series of demands, including turning on the comments on their Instagram channels and having Garry’s wife beg for the fight in a video.

Despite Covington’s bold demands, it seems unlikely that Garry will comply. Covington remains steadfast in his desire to face Edwards and prove himself as the best welterweight in the world.

“I want to show the world that I am healthy, that I can beat anyone in the world. That I am the best welterweight on earth right now,” Covington stated. “If he wants to show he’s serious about business, and he wants this fight, just agree to the three stipulations. Turn on the comments, cuck.”

With Covington standing firm on his conditions, it appears that the potential showdown with Garry is still far from materializing. As the drama between the two fighters continues to unfold, fans are left wondering if this fantasy matchup will ever come to fruition.
