Congressional Members Honor D-Day with Personal Parachute Jump in Normandy

In a rare display of bipartisanship, a group of U.S. lawmakers from the House of Representatives is gearing up for a commemorative parachute jump at Normandy to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Led by Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., and Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., the group of 10 congressmen, all veterans themselves, will pay tribute to the U.S. and Allied troops who played a pivotal role in ending World War II.
