Controversial rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow make appearance at Trump’s Bronx rally despite legal issues

Former President Donald Trump made headlines at a campaign rally in the Bronx by welcoming some controversial guests onstage. Among them were Brooklyn rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow, who are currently facing legal troubles.

Sheff G, whose real name is Michael Williams, was charged with attempted murder as part of a gang busting operation last year. While serving time for an unrelated weapons offense, he faced additional charges related to violent crimes. Sleepy Hallow, also known as Tegan Chambers, was accused of conspiracy in the same gang case and has a past record of firearm possession.

Despite their legal issues, the rappers were warmly received by Trump and the audience. Sheff G expressed his support for the former president, stating, “They are always going to whisper your accomplishments and shout your failures. Trump is going to shout the wins for all of us.” Sleepy Hallow echoed Trump’s famous catchphrase, “Make America Great Again.”

This is not the first time that artists with legal troubles have shown support for Trump. Chief Keef, Azealia Banks, and Kodak Black, whose sentence was commuted by Trump, have all expressed their backing for the former president.

Sheff G’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, emphasized that his client is presumed innocent and is currently in litigation with the Brooklyn district attorney’s office. The Trump campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, defended the rappers’ presence at the rally, stating, “They always whisper your accomplishments and shout your failures.”

The controversial appearance of Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow at Trump’s rally has sparked debate and raised questions about the intersection of politics and entertainment. Despite their legal troubles, the rappers’ support for Trump remains unwavering.
