Cosm, a leading provider of production services for tech and media companies, is making a bold move into physical venues with the launch of its first in-person site at LA’s Hollywood Park. The 65,000-square-foot venue, set to open on June 29, will have a capacity of 2,000 and will host a Saturday night of UFC fights beamed in from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The highlight of the venue is an 87-foot screen custom-fit to the surrounding domed structure, capable of displaying up to 12K resolution. Cosm describes the experience inside the venue as “shared reality,” blending visual media, entertainment, and technology for a unique communal experience.

In addition to the UFC event, the Hollywood Park location will host private events featuring the NHL and NBA playoffs. The venue will also feature a range of programming including Cirque du Soleil shows, exclusive immersive exhibitions, and projects from partnerships with major Hollywood studios.

Cosm CEO Jeb Terry, a former VP at Fox Sports and NFL player, envisions the venue as a year-round destination for live events and other entertainment offerings. The company has official partnerships in place with ESPN, the NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, and UFC to bring a variety of sports programming to the complex.

Backed by billionaire Steve Winn, Cosm aims to revolutionize the entertainment experience by engaging fans in new and innovative ways. With its extensive experience in production, the company plans to program each venue like a TV network, offering a wide range of content and experiences for visitors.
