Cosm, an immersive entertainment company, to open “Shared Reality” venue at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles

Cosm, a leading provider of production services for tech and media companies, is making a bold move into the physical venue space. The company recently announced its plans to launch its first in-person site at LA’s Hollywood Park, which is home to the SoFi Stadium and the soon-to-open Intuit Dome.

The 65,000-square-foot venue, with a capacity of 2,000, is set to open on June 29 and will kick off with a Saturday night of UFC fights beamed in from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Fans will have the opportunity to experience the action on an 87-foot screen custom-fit to the surrounding domed structure, capable of displaying up to 12K resolution.

Described as a “shared reality” experience, Cosm aims to blend visual media, entertainment, and technology to create a communal experience for fans. The company plans to host a variety of events, including NHL and NBA playoffs, Cirque du Soleil shows, and exclusive immersive exhibitions from creators and artists.

Cosm CEO Jeb Terry, a former VP at Fox Sports and NFL player, envisions the venue as a year-round destination for live events and other entertainment offerings. The company has secured partnerships with major sports networks like ESPN, NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, and UFC to bring a wide range of sports programming to the venue.

Backed by billionaire Steve Winn, Cosm is poised to revolutionize the entertainment experience by combining its expertise in production with physical spaces. With plans to offer a diverse range of programming and events, Cosm’s LA site is set to become a must-visit destination for fans of sports and entertainment alike.
