The adult novelty retail store Lion’s Den in Ripley has a new landlord, Ripley Travel Holdings, LLC, after Carnegie Companies, LLC sold the property for $1.5 million. The store, known for its lingerie, adult toys, and other products, remains in operation with no changes following the sale.
In another transaction, Haggy’s Hatchet House, LLC purchased 84 W. Main St. in Frewsburg for $110,000. The establishment, which offers a restaurant, billiards, and hatchet throwing, is expanding its offerings with a hatchet throwing trailer available for rent.
Additionally, Five Star Bank sold the former location of Graham’s Market at 104 Church St. in Sherman to Calimeri Properties, LLC for $90,000. The market closed in 2022 after just two years of operation.
Overall, there were six sales in Chautauqua County during this time period that exceeded $250,000. Other notable sales include properties on Bly Hill Road, North Harmony; Marina Drive, Ellery; Lake St., Ellicott; N. Water St., Westfield; Lakeside Drive, Busti; and Cook Ave., Chautauqua Institution.
With a total of 96 transactions from April 1-10, the real estate market in Chautauqua County remains active. From small parcels to larger commercial properties, buyers and sellers are engaging in a variety of transactions across the county.
