Oklahoma State’s men’s tennis team is making waves in the rankings, with the court one pairing of Isaac Becroft and Tyler Zink climbing to No. 8 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association DI Poll. The team as a whole also moved up to No. 32, marking a significant improvement from their previous ranking of No. 36.

The Pokes’ success can be attributed to their recent win over No. 30 UCF in the Big 12 Championships, which propelled them to the semifinal round for the second consecutive year. With 17 wins under their belt, the team is enjoying their most successful season since 2018.

Zink and Becroft have been instrumental in Oklahoma State’s success, earning their highest ranking as a pairing and securing wins over tough opponents in the Big 12 Championships. Zink, in particular, has been a standout player, ranking in the top 25 for the seventh time this season and leading the team in singles wins.

Becroft and Garcia have also been key contributors to the team’s success, with both players consistently appearing in the rankings and notching impressive wins throughout the season.

Although the Zink and Garcia pairing has not seen action since March 23, they still maintain a top-85 ranking and have contributed nine wins to the team.
