CRDB Bank is taking steps to support online entrepreneurs in Tanzania by organizing a seminar to enhance their operations and overcome challenges in the digital space. The bank’s acting director of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Mr. Farid Seif, highlighted the impact of recent advancements in technology on business operations, creating opportunities for Tanzanians to join the global online marketplace.
The bank established the ‘Instaprenyua’ platform in 2022 to empower online entrepreneurs and is now inviting them to attend a seminar on May 4, 2024. The seminar will cover topics such as business growth strategies, market planning, sourcing goods, shipping logistics, and customer payment in online businesses.
CRDB Bank aims to not only enhance entrepreneurs’ knowledge but also promote the various opportunities it offers, including fee-free accounts, investment and operational loans, and specialized loans for traders importing goods. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to register early for the seminar, as space is limited.
Collaborating with partners like Simba Courier, Mwananchi Communications Limited (MCL), and Infocus Studio Limited, CRDB Bank is committed to supporting online entrepreneurs in leveraging social media platforms for business growth. Mr. Joshua Moshi, CEO of Infocus Studio Limited, emphasized the importance of capacity building in business and encouraged entrepreneurs to attend the seminar to exchange experiences and improve their businesses.
