Indie rock band Crumb has announced an exciting North American tour in support of their upcoming album, “Amama.” Along with the tour announcement, the band has also released a new song titled “The Bug,” accompanied by a music video directed by Haoyan of America.
Lead singer Lila Ramani shared the inspiration behind “The Bug,” revealing that the song’s origins date back to a motel in Nebraska where she woke up with bed bug bites during one of the band’s early tours. The track explores the concept of a bug representing various aspects of life, whether it be a friend, a lover, or a nagging feeling that keeps you up at night.
The tour kicks off in Des Moines, Iowa on July 18, just days before their performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. The tour will take Crumb across the United States and Canada, with special guests L’Rain, Vagabon, and Discovery Zone joining them at select shows.
Fans can catch Crumb live in cities like Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Montreal, Brooklyn, and more, before wrapping up the tour in Los Angeles on October 23. With their dreamy psychedelic rock sound and captivating visuals, Crumb’s tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers across North America.
