Scotland’s leading support organisation for cyber and fraud crime, the Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland, has recently announced the appointment of four new trustees to its board. These new trustees bring a wealth of expertise and experience to help support Scotland’s businesses in the fight against the growing threat of cyber and fraud crime.

DCC Bex Smith, with over twenty years of policing experience, joins the board with a background in public protection, major crime, and serious and organised crime. Bruce Harrison, recently retired from his role as managing director at BlackRock, brings a wealth of knowledge in managing technology risks. Gerry Magee, with over 25 years of experience in brand and marketing leadership, adds valuable expertise in brand-building and strategic marketing planning. Sophie Hodgson, director of corporate communications at Secureworks, brings global experience in corporate communications and PR.

The Cyber and Fraud Centre – Scotland offers a range of services to help businesses be resilient against cyber and fraud crime, including an incident response helpline for businesses that have fallen victim to cyber crime.
