Investigators have uncovered shocking new evidence in the case of suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann. Heuermann, already facing charges in the deaths of six women, has now been charged with the murders of two additional victims, Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office revealed that they have recovered a deleted Word document that they believe was used by Heuermann to meticulously plan out his kills. The document, which includes disturbing details, is said to outline Heuermann’s motivations and clear intent to murder his victims.
According to the newly found evidence, Heuermann had a significant collection of violent and bondage pornography dating back to 1994. The images accessed by Heuermann reportedly coincide with the way the remains of some of his victims were found.
The Word document, believed to be a planning guide, is divided into sections such as “PROBLEMS,” “SUPPLIES,” “DS” (Dump Sites), and “TRG” (Target or Victim). It includes instructions on how to avoid leaving evidence, prepare the victims’ bodies, and dispose of tools and clothing.
The document also contains disturbing reminders such as “hit harder,” “use heavy rope for neck,” and “more sleep & noise control = more play time,” which investigators believe refer to sexual and mutilation acts perpetrated on the victims.
Despite the chilling details revealed in the document, Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to the charges. The investigation into the Gilgo Beach murders continues, with authorities vowing to pursue justice for the victims.
