Dallas takes series lead as they continue to dominate on the road

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Dallas Stars came out strong in Game 3 against the Colorado Avalanche, securing a 4-1 victory on the road at Ball Arena. Rookie Logan Stankoven and veteran Tyler Seguin led the charge with two goals each, while goalie Jake Oettinger made 28 saves to help the Stars take a 2-1 series lead.

Despite facing a tough challenge against the Avalanche, who had not lost a playoff game on home ice, the Stars continued their road dominance. They capitalized on their early lead in the first period and maintained their momentum throughout the game.

One key factor in the Stars’ success was their penalty kill, which shut down the Avalanche’s power play for the second consecutive game. Jamie Benn and Ryan Suter made a crucial defensive play to prevent a goal, showcasing the team’s commitment to blocking shots and making key plays when needed.

Tyler Seguin also continued his success against Colorado, adding two more goals to his impressive tally against the Avalanche this season. His performance, along with strong goaltending from Oettinger, helped the Stars secure the crucial Game 3 win.

With the series now in their favor, the Stars will look to carry their momentum into Game 4 on Monday night. Fans can expect another intense matchup as both teams battle for a spot in the next round of the playoffs.
