Rajkumar Rao and Jyothika’s second collaboration, “Srikanth,” is making waves at the box office with its steady growth since its release on May 10, 2024. The movie, directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, has been receiving positive responses from audiences.
“Srikanth” features Rajkumar Rao in the titular role, with Jyothika portraying the character of Srikanth’s mother. The movie opened to a collection of Rs 2.25 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 4.2 crore on the second day. The box office numbers peaked on the third day, with earnings of Rs 5.25 crore. However, the collection saw a slight decline on the fourth and fifth days, with Rs 1.65 crore and Rs 1.6 crore respectively.
“Srikanth” delves into the inspiring story of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, who founded Bollant Industries. The film boasts a stellar cast including Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, Jameel Khan, Srinivas Beesetty, and Anusha Nuthul. The movie, with a budget of Rs 40-50 crore, has a runtime of 134 minutes.
