DEKRA, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, has reported record-breaking revenue in 2023, reaching an all-time high of 4.1 billion euros. This marks an impressive 8% increase compared to the previous year, showcasing the company’s strong growth trajectory.

The company’s adjusted EBITDA grew by 7.8% and adjusted EBIT by 12.8%, further highlighting DEKRA’s financial success in 2023. With its ‘Strategy 2025’ gaining momentum, DEKRA is poised for continued growth in the coming years, focusing on key areas such as Future Mobility, Cyber Security, Sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence.

DEKRA’s CEO, Stan Zurkiewicz, expressed confidence in the company’s performance, stating, “All six regions and all Service Divisions contributed to our strong sales momentum and our all-time revenue high. Our strong core businesses and our early mover advantage in future topics make us highly confident that we will grow both revenue and margins, and achieve our strategic goals.”

In 2024, DEKRA plans to leverage its early mover advantage in future technologies and regulations to drive revenue growth in the mid-single-digit range. By 2025, the company aims to be the partner of choice for cutting-edge TIC services in key business areas.

DEKRA’s success in 2023 was fueled by strong performance in regions like the Americas and Central East Europe & Middle East, with the GSA region (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) generating the highest revenue in absolute terms. Vehicle-related services remained a primary revenue source for the company, solidifying its position as the global market leader in vehicle testing.

With a rich history dating back to 1925, DEKRA continues to uphold its commitment to safety, security, and sustainability. The company’s impressive financial results in 2023 reflect its dedication to excellence and innovation in the testing and certification industry.
