DeMar DeRozan Confesses Dislike for Another NBA Player

Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a league where camaraderie and sportsmanship are often emphasized, Houston Rockets player Dillon Brooks stands out as a player who doesn’t care if he’s loved or hated. His tough and aggressive style of play has earned him a reputation as a player who isn’t afraid to get under the skin of his opponents.

One player who has openly expressed his dislike for Brooks is DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls. In a recent interview, DeRozan didn’t hold back, stating, “I’m not going to lie, I just don’t like him. And for two, don’t walk up behind me, that’s rule number one, don’t walk up on no man behind him when his back’s turned.”

Brooks’ tactics on the court, which include playing with extreme physicality and implementing dirty tricks, have rubbed many players the wrong way. LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell, and Draymond Green are just a few of the other players who likely share DeRozan’s sentiments towards Brooks.

While Brooks’ approach may be effective in rattling his opponents and disrupting their game, there are concerns that his style of play may not align with the values of the league. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver may eventually step in and take action if Brooks continues to push the boundaries with his tactics.

As the tension between Brooks and his peers continues to simmer, it will be interesting to see how the league responds to his controversial playing style. In a league where sportsmanship and fair play are valued, Brooks’ aggressive approach may soon reach a tipping point.
