Rapper P Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, will not have his star removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame despite facing a series of sexual assault allegations. The decision comes after new video footage surfaced showing the rapper hitting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed that they have not discussed the possibility of removing Diddy’s star, citing the difficulty of removing stars that are firmly cemented into the ground. This decision has sparked controversy, as other public figures like Donald Trump and Bill Cosby have had their stars removed in the past due to similar allegations.

Diddy is currently facing multiple allegations of sexual assault, drugging, and more, with several women filing civil lawsuits against him. Cassie was the first to come forward with her accusations, but their lawsuit was settled out of court within a day as Diddy denied her claims.

Recently, new footage emerged showing Diddy hitting and dragging Cassie in a hotel hallway back in 2016. Cassie took to Instagram to thank her supporters and address the issue of domestic violence, stating that she is still recovering from her past experiences.

Despite the mounting allegations, the Los Angeles Police Department has been unable to bring charges against Diddy due to the time limit on assault allegations. Diddy has denied all wrongdoing and allegations against him, acknowledging that the behavior shown in the video is “inexcusable.”

As the controversy surrounding Diddy continues to unfold, the public remains divided on whether his star should remain on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
