Diamond Nation announces acquisition of Unrivaled Sports, expanding family vision and creating new opportunities in the region

Diamond Nation, a prominent sports complex in Flemington, New Jersey, has been acquired by Unrivaled Sports, a company backed by the owners of the 76ers, the Prudential Center, and the New Jersey Devils. Despite the acquisition, Diamond Nation will retain its name and management, but will now have access to new opportunities for growth.

Unrivaled Sports, founded by Josh Harris and David Blitzer, is a conglomerate of well-established sports brands, including Ripken Experiences and the Cooperstown All Star Village. Jack Cust III, a former Oakland Athletics outfielder and co-founder of Diamond Nation, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating that it will allow for more resources and potential new locations for the sports complex.

The complex, which hosts 3,000 teams and 45,000 participants annually, features five 90-foot diamonds, two youth fields, and a state-of-the-art indoor training facility. Notable MLB players such as Mike Trout, Anthony Volpe, and Rick Porcello have trained at Diamond Nation in the past.

Wade Martin, CEO of Unrivaled Sports’ baseball division, emphasized the importance of Diamond Nation in shaping young athletes through elite training and memorable experiences. The acquisition marks a new chapter for Diamond Nation, with the potential for further expansion and development under the Unrivaled Sports umbrella.
