North Collins pitcher Derek Ebersole led his team to victory in the Section VI Class D championship baseball game on Saturday, with a stellar performance on the mound and at the plate. After securing the final out, Ebersole and catcher Vincent Montaldi shared a celebratory moment, embracing each other in a bear hug as the rest of the North Collins team joined in the celebration. The Eagles’ 4-1 win over Franklinville at Diethrick Park in Jamestown secured their second consecutive sectional crown.
