Dressed in a traditional white kurta pyjama, Diljit was seen offering prayers at the Gurudwara, exuding a sense of contentment. The actor-singer also took to Instagram to share his experience, spreading positivity and blessings on the festive day.

Apart from his religious activities, Diljit is also making waves in the film industry with his stellar performance in the movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film delves into the life and legacy of the legendary Punjabi artist, Amar Singh Chamkila, with Diljit portraying the role of the singer and Parineeti Chopra playing his wife, Amarjot.

Imtiaz Ali, the director of the film, expressed his thoughts on the project, stating, “Stories of young musicians that challenge the norms of society, who see unprecedented success and then have violent ends is, unfortunately, a worldwide phenomenon.” He further added, “The life and times of Chamkila raised important questions for society but ultimately it is a celebration of the life of an artist, the story of a musician who could never give up his first love – music.”
