Global Indian International School in Hadapsar has emerged victorious in the Global Schools Foundation’s Make in India Innovation Initiative (MI4) competition. The school’s team, The Food Fortifiers, presented their project ‘Food Wise: Reducing Food Waste, Nourishing Lives,’ which secured them the first-place position in the finale.

The MI4 event aims to provide a platform for students to showcase groundbreaking innovations and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship. The team of environment enthusiasts from OWIS Sarjapur claimed the second position with their project, ‘Eco-tech: The Ultimate Green Endeavor.’ Meanwhile, the Education Enablers team from GIIS Ahmedabad clinched the third position with their cutting-edge technology solution, ‘Gyanrath.’

In another educational initiative, the learning platform Unacademy has introduced special offers and scholarships for aspiring students preparing for the UPSC CSE examinations. Recently, Unacademy organized the Manzil 2024 event where UPSC CSE toppers were felicitated.

Moreover, at the Prawas4.0 show, a multi-modal transport event organized by the Bus & Car Operators Federation of India, Shree Swami Samarth Tours & Travels signed an MOU with Starkenn Technologies, a deep tech company based in Pune. Starkenn Technologies offers driving safety solutions for commercial vehicles, including products like BrakeSafe (Collision Mitigation System) and Attention (Driver Monitoring System). The company has already installed its safety solutions in over 2,500 vehicles, aiming to make Indian roads safer through technology.
