Dixon Technologies (India) has recently announced a significant partnership with Acerpure Indian CE, marking a major milestone in the electronics sector. The company has entered into a Memorandum of Association (MoU) with Acerpure for the manufacturing of a range of consumer appliance products.
Acerpure, known for its trade, import, and export of consumer durables and home appliances, will now collaborate with Dixon Technologies to produce state-of-the-art TVs and other products in Dixon’s facilities. This partnership is aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative and aims to enhance India’s self-sufficiency and global competitiveness in the electronics industry.
Sunil Vachani, the executive chairman of Dixon Technologies, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it represents a significant stride towards economic growth and fostering innovation in India. Similarly, Harish Kohli, president & managing director of Acer India, emphasized the shared vision of fostering economic growth and technological advancement within the nation through this partnership.
The financial performance of Dixon Technologies has also been impressive, with a 20.68% rise in consolidated net profit in Q4 FY24 and a 51.95% growth in revenue from operations. The company has evolved from being a manufacturer of electronic goods to a leading multi-product corporation with widespread activities.
Investors have shown confidence in Dixon Technologies, as the company’s stock rose by 1.95% to end at Rs 8,254.70 on Thursday, 16 May 2024. This partnership with Acerpure is expected to further strengthen Dixon’s position in the market and drive innovation in the consumer electronics segment.
