Former White House official Dr. Sebastian Gorka has stirred up controversy by claiming that a second term for President Donald Trump would be both “world stabilising” and “terrifying” for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Gorka, who served as a strategist in the Trump administration and now hosts the America First radio show, believes that another four years of Trump in office would lead to a safer world with no new wars.
Gorka specifically pointed out that Putin is “terrified” of Trump and suggested that the former President could end the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine in just one day. The war between the two countries began in February 2022 and has seen the United States provide significant military equipment, humanitarian aid, and financial support to Ukraine.
During Trump’s previous administration, no new wars were initiated by the United States, with the former President advocating for a peace through strength strategy. Trump himself has promised to continue this approach if re-elected, vowing to restore strength, power, and prestige to the country.
Critics of Trump, however, have expressed concerns about the potential consequences of a second Trump presidency. Democratic strategist Robert Weiner warned that all institutions could become “Trump vehicles” under his leadership. Additionally, he dismissed Trump’s claim that he could end the Ukraine war in one day, stating that it would require compromises that are currently unrealistic.
As the debate over a potential second Trump term continues, the world watches closely to see how these predictions and promises will play out on the global stage.
