Donald Trump Found Guilty on All 34 Counts in Legal Hush Cash Trial

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former President Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 felony counts in his hush money trial in New York. The jury deliberated for nearly 12 hours before reaching their verdict, which convicted Trump of falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

After leaving the courtroom, Trump addressed the media and continued to insist that he had done nothing wrong, calling the decision rigged. He blamed the Biden administration for the charges brought against him, despite there being no evidence to support his claims.

During the trial, Trump pleaded not guilty and remained defiant throughout. His defense lawyer, Todd Blanche, maintained his innocence and argued that the prosecution had not met their burden of proof.

The trial was marked by several dramatic moments, including Trump being held in contempt 10 times and fined $10,000 for violating the judge’s gag order. Both Stormy Daniels and Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen, testified, while Trump chose not to take the stand.

This historic trial marks the first time a former U.S. president has been tried and convicted on criminal charges. Trump now faces a maximum of four years in prison, although defendants in similar cases often receive probation.

Sentencing is set for a later date, and Trump is expected to return to court in July for his sentencing hearing. The trial has been a spectacle, with all eyes on the outcome of this high-profile case.
