The Southern Door Eagles track team soared to victory at the EWC Invitational in Valders after a disappointing performance earlier in the week. The boys’ team clinched a nail-biting win, edging out second-place Oostburg by a mere 0.13 points. Standout performances from Zach Lynch and Ben Grota, who each secured two wins, along with Braeden VanRemortel and Cooper Rass sharing the high jump title, contributed to the team’s success.

On the girls’ side, Southern Door had a more comfortable lead, outscoring Oostburg by 10 points. Frankie Nellis, Elise Jackson, and Emma Bousley were among the athletes who secured wins for the Eagles, showcasing their talent and determination on the track.
