Dr. Nick Danso Adjei named Ghana’s “Entrepreneur of the Year”

Dr. Nick Danso Adjei, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of Ghana Link Network Services Ltd, was honored with the prestigious title of Ghana’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the Ghana-West Africa Business Excellence Awards on May 10, 2024. This marked the sixth time Dr. Danso Adjei has received this esteemed accolade, solidifying his position as one of Ghana’s top entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, Ghana Link Network Services Ltd has transformed trade facilitation in the region with the implementation of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS). This system has greatly improved operational efficiencies at Ghana’s ports and borders, leading to increased government revenue and enhanced ease of doing business.

In addition to Dr. Danso Adjei’s individual award, his company also received the “Trade Facilitation Company of the Year” award for its robust implementation of the ICUMS and its positive impact on the trade ecosystem. The system connects over 8,000 daily users, streamlining processes for freight forwarders, shippers, and regulatory bodies.
