Dripos secures $11M Series A funding to disrupt Square, Toast, and other software solutions

Coffee shops have been hit hard by the global pandemic, with many relying on foot traffic to stay afloat. However, some innovative entrepreneurs have found a way to adapt and thrive in this challenging environment.

One such success story is Dripos, a New York-based coffee shop software company founded by Jack Pawlik and Avery Durrant in 2019. Initially focused on helping local coffee shops build mobile ordering apps, the duo quickly realized there was a larger problem at hand.

Through conversations with shop owners, Pawlik and Durrant discovered that many were using multiple software solutions to manage their operations, leading to inefficiencies and headaches. In response, they pivoted to create Dripos, a comprehensive tool that combines point-of-sale, mobile payments, employee management, loyalty programs, and more into one platform.

The impact of Dripos has been significant, with Manny Caral, owner of Revolucion Coffee + Juice in Texas, praising the platform for streamlining operations and improving the customer experience. As a result, Dripos has seen rapid growth, expanding its presence to coffee shops across 46 states and processing hundreds of millions in annual payments.

To support their continued growth and development, Pawlik and Durrant recently secured $11 million in Series A funding, led by early-stage venture capital firm Base10 Partners. The investment will allow Dripos to further invest in technology development and expand its market reach.
