Three leading Irish female entrepreneurs are set to inspire and empower aspiring businesswomen at an upcoming event at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) on Wednesday, May 8th. Adrienne Magnier of Zarasyl, Aisling Kirwan of Positive Carbon, and Sinéad Crowther of Soothing Solutions will share their experiences of starting and growing successful companies with attendees.
Supported by Enterprise Ireland and KPMG, the Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs event aims to encourage women with entrepreneurial ambitions to take the leap and start their own businesses. Research shows that nearly one in five women in Ireland aspire to become entrepreneurs, and initiatives like this one are crucial in helping them achieve their goals.
Sinéad Crowther, co-founder of Soothing Solutions, was recently named the Enterprise Ireland High-Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Founder of the Year for 2023. Adrienne Magnier founded Zarasyl in 2018, bringing innovative dermatological and wound care products to the global animal health market. Aisling Kirwan, co-founder of Positive Carbon, provides food waste data to commercial kitchens to help them reduce waste and reach sustainability goals.
The event will be hosted by Thrive4Women and will feature Paula Fitzsimons as the MC. Lavina McGahon, Manager of the THRIVE4Women Programme at DkIT, expressed excitement about the event, highlighting the importance of showcasing successful female entrepreneurs and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.
With events like this taking place across the country, the Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs initiative is making a significant impact on the entrepreneurial landscape in Ireland. Attendees at the Dundalk event will have the opportunity to learn from the experiences of these successful women and gain valuable insights into starting and growing their own businesses.
