POUGHKEEPSIE- Dutchess Tourism, the official destination marketing organization for Dutchess County, recently hosted its annual brochure exchange at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum in Poughkeepsie. The event, held on May 9, 2024, brought together forty tourism-related businesses to network and collaborate in preparation for the upcoming summer travel season.
During the event, Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino and Dutchess Tourism President & CEO Melaine Rottkamp recognized individuals certified as Dutchess Tourism Ambassadors and shared their outlook for the upcoming travel season in Dutchess. Rottkamp emphasized the importance of the tourism industry as an economic powerhouse, job creator, and community builder.

These programs aim to equip hospitality professionals with the necessary skills to deliver outstanding service and enhance the overall visitor experience in the Hudson Valley.
Looking ahead, Dutchess County will continue its Rev250 celebrations, commemorating America’s semiquincentennial with events like RevCon 2024 on June 8 at the Franklin D.
