Edmonton couple expecting Alberta’s 6th set of quadruplets

Reading Time: < 1 minute

An Edmonton family is about to experience a life-changing event as they prepare to welcome quadruplets, a rare occurrence with odds of one in 67 million. Tara and Tommy Watson will soon become parents to two girls and two boys, making them the sixth set of quadruplets in Alberta.

The news is even more special for the family as great grandma Mary Hebert will go from having one great grandchild to five. The family and friends recently gathered to find out the genders of the babies, bringing joy and excitement to the soon-to-be parents.

Tara, who is currently 25 weeks along, shared that the pregnancy has been more challenging compared to her first one. Despite the difficulties, she remains grateful that both she and the babies are healthy. The couple is now in full preparation mode, making lists and plans for the arrival of the quadruplets in just nine weeks.

To help with the financial challenges of raising quadruplets, the Watson family has set up a GoFundMe and meal train. They are grateful for the support and assistance from their community as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.

Tommy expressed his excitement for the journey ahead, acknowledging that it will be busy and challenging but expressing confidence in their ability to handle it. The Watson family is looking forward to the arrival of their four bundles of joy and the adventure that awaits them.
