Eduarda Moura misses weight for second consecutive fight at UFC Louisville weigh-in

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Eduarda Moura, the Brazilian UFC fighter, may need to reconsider her division after missing weight once again at the official weigh-ins for UFC Louisville. The event, set to take place at the KFC Yum! Center, saw Moura coming in at 116.5 pounds, half a pound over the strawweight limit.

This is not the first time Moura has struggled with making weight in the UFC. In her debut fight against Montserrat Conejo, she weighed in at 119.5 pounds, exceeding the limit by 3.5 pounds. Despite being scheduled to compete at 115 pounds for her last four fights, Moura has had issues with weight management, having previously fought in higher weight classes before joining the UFC.

While Moura’s weigh-in mishap raised eyebrows, the main event fighters, middleweight contenders Jared Cannonier and Nassourdine Imavov, both successfully made weight at 185 pounds. However, several other fighters faced challenges on the scale, including Montana De La Rosa, Denise Gomes, Brad Katona, and Punahele Soriano. After initially missing weight, they managed to hit the mark on their second attempt with the help of a box for coverage.

The official weigh-in results for UFC Louisville are as follows:
