Education Updates in the Magic Valley

Kimberly High School students are gearing up for the 2024 Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference in Chicago from May 10-14. This prestigious event will see six thousand delegates from across the country competing in various business and information technology skills competitions.

Among the talented students representing Kimberly High School are Payton Humphreys, Payton Robinson, Skyler Funk, Eli Sturgill, and many more. These students will be participating in a range of competitions, from Administrative Support Team to C++ Programming and Global Marketing Team.

In addition to the competitions, the students will also attend leadership and professional development workshops and receive awards for their community service efforts. The conference provides a unique opportunity for these young professionals to showcase their skills, learn from industry experts, and network with peers from around the nation.

Meanwhile, the Twin Falls School District is hosting a kindergarten open house on April 25 at Pillar Falls Elementary, where families can meet the kindergarten teachers and learn more about the upcoming school year. Additionally, the Kimberly School District is offering high school students the chance to work towards a CNA or EMT certification, with in-person courses hosted at RISE Charter School.
