Elixir Games partners with Ava Labs and acquires RoboKiden

Elixir Games, a Web3 gaming company backed by Square Enix, has made a significant move in the gaming industry by acquiring the popular RoboKiden shooter game and forming a strategic partnership with Ava Labs.

RoboKiden, developed by The Breach Studios with expertise from Assassin’s Creed and Rainbow Six Siege veterans, is set to receive a boost from Elixir and Ava Labs. This acquisition marks Elixir’s commitment to offering premium gaming experiences, with RoboKiden positioned as a flagship title for the Elixir platform.

The collaboration comes on the heels of a successful $14 million seed funding round, with support from key players like the Solana Foundation, NeoTokyo, and CyberKongz. The partnership with Ava Labs will further enhance the gaming experience by leveraging Avalanche’s scalable infrastructure for seamless gameplay and enhanced digital ownership rights.

Carlos Roldan, CEO of Elixir Games, expressed excitement about bringing RoboKiden to the gaming community, highlighting the vibrant arena shooter’s potential. The game, set for release in July, promises a unique experience for players on Windows, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, blending chaotic fun with strategic gameplay in a whimsical battle arena setting.

Additionally, RoboKiden will be featured in the Elixir Season Pass, offering a prize pool of over $1 million and future seasons with generous rewards to engage and reward players.
