The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center at Seton Hall University is hosting a day-long workshop series on Thursday, May 30, dedicated to the benefits of integrating gamified course content, badging, and credentialing into educational curriculum. Educators looking to enhance their teaching strategies, increase student engagement, and promote lifelong learning are encouraged to attend.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive workshops throughout the day. They will learn how to create meaningful learning experiences through game-based activities, discover the power of digital badges as micro-credentials, discuss how badges can motivate learners, and explore the landscape of digital credentials.

The session schedule includes a variety of topics such as gamification, creating DIY escape rooms, interactive adventures, and understanding credentials, micro-credentials, and badges. Participants will also have the chance to learn about Seton Hall University’s current homegrown badging platform and potential future solutions.

This workshop series aims to provide valuable tools and insights for educators to transform their pedagogy and inspire a new generation of learners. By incorporating gamified content and badging into their curriculum, educators can create engaging and interactive learning experiences for their students.
