Idris Elba has been crowned as having the sexiest male voice in a recent survey conducted by the Bingo Association. The ‘Luther’ actor’s gravelly tones edged out competition from the likes of Tom Hardy and Daniel Craig, who placed second and third respectively.

On the female side, TV chef Nigella Lawson was voted as having the sexiest voice, just beating out ‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson. Meanwhile, Sir David Attenborough was deemed to have the most calming British voice, with Dame Joanna Lumley coming in second.

The survey also delved into controversial figures, with Jeremy Clarkson emerging as the favorite voice among respondents, surpassing Gordon Ramsay and Piers Morgan.

Voice was highlighted as a crucial factor in celebrity success, with 69% of participants believing that a celebrity’s voice plays a significant role in their fame and success. Additionally, 68% stated they can often identify a celebrity based solely on their voice.
