Entertainment News | Salman Firing Case: Suspects Identified by Cops with the Help of Original Aadhaar Cards and Bike Documents

The recent firing incident at actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence has taken a new turn as the police have successfully identified and apprehended the suspects involved. The breakthrough in the case came when the original Aadhaar cards submitted by the suspects for a rent agreement and bike purchase documents helped the police establish their identities.

The suspects, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), were nabbed by joint teams of the Kutch-West and Mumbai Police from Mata No Madh village in Gujarat. It was revealed that the duo was hired by the gang of Lawrence Bishnoi to carry out the firing at Khan’s house.

The suspects, originally from Champaran in Bihar, had traveled to Mumbai and rented a house near Panvel city in Raigad. They used their original Aadhaar cards for the rent agreement and even purchased a second-hand motorcycle for the crime. The police recovered a live round from the spot after the firing incident, indicating the use of a good quality weapon.

After the shooting, the suspects abandoned the bike near Mount Mary Church in Bandra and fled to Surat, dumping the firearm used in the crime in a river. The police, with the help of human and technical intelligence, tracked down the suspects in Gujarat and successfully apprehended them.

The coordination between Mumbai Police and their Gujarat counterpart played a crucial role in the arrest of the suspects. The police are now trying to establish the identity of the person who provided logistical support and money to the suspects. The investigation is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as the case progresses.
