Popular television actor Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, made headlines recently as he returned to his Delhi home after being missing since April 22. The actor’s disappearance had raised concerns among his family and fans, but he finally resurfaced on Friday.

According to DCP South West Delhi, Rohit Meena, Gurucharan Singh had been facing personal and professional issues, which led him to embark on a “spiritual journey.” After realizing that he needed to return home, the actor came back and recorded his judicial statement with the police.

His sudden disappearance had prompted his father to file a complaint with Delhi Police, expressing his worry over his son’s whereabouts. The investigation revealed that Gurucharan had been using multiple bank accounts and credit cards despite his financial troubles.

The All Indian Cine Workers Association also stepped in, urging Delhi authorities to expedite the probe into the matter and ensure justice for Gurucharan Singh and his family. The association’s president, Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, highlighted the support of the Indian film industry for the missing actor.
