Eleven business leaders from Northern Virginia have been named as finalists for Ernst & Young’s 2024 Mid-Atlantic Entrepreneur of the Year award. These individuals were selected by an independent panel of judges for their demonstration of long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth, and impact.
Among the regional finalists from Northern Virginia are Anil Sharma, CEO of 22nd Century Technologies in Tysons, Kevin Kelly, chair and CEO of Arcfield in Chantilly, and Julie Sciullo, CEO of Association Analytics in Arlington County. Other finalists include Sukumar Iyer of Brillient in Reston, Sid Chowdhary of Credence Management Solutions in Tysons, and Dan Berkon of Culmen International in Alexandria.
The 30 regional finalists from Virginia, Maryland, and DC collectively generated $2.8 billion in revenue in 2023, with an average revenue growth of 86 percent. They also employed over 16,000 people last year. The regional winner will be announced in June and will move on to compete at the national level.
Ernst & Young’s program co-director, Anthony Calderazzi, praised the finalists for their resilience, adaptability, and dedication to solving real problems in business and society.
