ENVE Unveils the Fray: A Game-Changing Performance Road Bike
ENVE has just launched the Fray, a cutting-edge performance road bike designed to push the boundaries of what riders can achieve on the road. Boasting ample tire clearance, top-tier construction inspired by World Tour racing, and ENVE’s signature aerodynamics, the Fray sets a new standard for all-road performance.
The Fray joins ENVE’s existing lineup of drop-bar road bikes, which includes the Custom Road, Melee, and MOG models. With the addition of the Fray, ENVE solidifies its position as a full-service bicycle brand, expanding beyond their renowned aftermarket wheels and components.
According to Jake Pantone, VP of Product and Brand at ENVE, the Fray is a versatile bike that excels on mixed surfaces, filling a gap in ENVE’s product offerings. Pantone describes the Fray as the ideal bike for weekend rides and travel adventures, offering unmatched performance in a variety of conditions.
Combining elements from the Melee and MOG models, the Fray delivers exceptional aerodynamics, lightweight construction, and efficient power transfer. Its geometry is optimized for 31 to 35 mm tires, with clearance for up to 40 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of surfaces and terrains.
Constructed from a blend of medium, high, and super-high modulus carbon fibers using ENVE’s Material Optimized Design process, the Fray is a masterpiece of engineering. Its fit and geometry have been meticulously crafted to ensure consistent handling across all seven frame sizes, from 47 to 60 cm.
ENVE offers the Fray in three striking color options – Ash, Venom, and Salt – available globally through ENVE Ride Centers and retail partners. The Fray Chassis, which includes the frame, fork, headset, handlebar, stem, and seatpost, retails for US $5,500/ €5,995/ £5,500/ AUD $9,999.
