Eshelman School of Pharmacy Tops Rankings, Other UNC Graduate Programs in Top 10

UNC’s Eshelman School of Pharmacy Named Top Pharmacy School in the Nation for Third Consecutive Time

In a recent announcement by U.S. News & World Report, the University of North Carolina’s Eshelman School of Pharmacy has been named the top pharmacy school in the nation for the third consecutive time. This prestigious honor solidifies the school’s reputation for excellence in pharmacy education and research.

But the accolades don’t stop there. Several other graduate programs at UNC have also been recognized in the national top 10 for their respective categories in the “Best Graduate Schools” report. The Gillings School of Global Public Health ranked No. 2 out of 213 programs, while the UNC School of Social Work tied for fourth place overall. Additionally, the UNC School of Law achieved a record-high ranking of No. 20 out of 196 law schools.

Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts expressed pride in the university’s exceptional graduate programs, stating, “Carolina is always proud to be recognized for our dedication to a world-class education. Every one of our graduate programs contributes to making us the leading public research university.”

Dean Angela Kashuba of the Eshelman School of Pharmacy credited the school’s success to its unique curriculum, which emphasizes experiential education. She highlighted the contributions of students, staff, alumni, and partners in achieving this prestigious ranking.

With around 225 pharmacy students actively supporting patient care across North Carolina, the Eshelman School of Pharmacy continues to make a significant impact in the field of pharmacy education and practice.
