Katy Etterman, a former Brainerd High School graduate, has had a remarkable career in diving and gymnastics that has taken her around the world. From performing in high-wire, death-defying acts to competing in international diving competitions, Etterman has showcased her talents on a global stage.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, where she excelled as a diver and team captain, Etterman went on to perform in various shows and competitions, including the Red Bull Cliff Diving series and Cirque du Soleil’s “O” in Las Vegas. Her adventurous spirit led her to become a wilderness guide in Alaska, further adding to her diverse experiences.
Despite her busy schedule, Etterman will be returning to her roots in the Brainerd lakes area to be inducted into the 2024 Brainerd Warriors Athletic Hall of Fame alongside former classmates and coaches. Her coaches remember her as a talented and dedicated athlete who always pushed herself to new heights.
