Eustice Brothers to be Inducted into Hall of Fame | Latest Updates on News, Sports, and Job Opportunities

Former Blue Earth Area High School wrestlers Luke and Ty Eustice are set to be inducted into the Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association David Bartelma Wrestling Hall of Fame for 2024. The brothers, who both had successful wrestling careers at Blue Earth Area High School and the University of Iowa, will be honored during a ceremony in Benson on May 4.

Luke Eustice, a three-time state champion and state runner-up, graduated from BEA in 1999 with a career record of 163-18. He went on to wrestle for the University of Iowa, where he was a three-year starter, All-American, and two-time Big Ten Runner Up. Luke also competed internationally and served as Director of Operations for the University of Iowa before becoming the Director of the Iowa City Area Sports Commission.

Ty Eustice, who graduated from BEA in 2001, was a two-time NCAA All-American and four-time NCAA Qualifier at the University of Iowa. He also had a successful coaching career at Minnesota State University – Mankato before joining the NCAA Division I Davidson College Wrestling program as head assistant coach in 2021.

Ty’s coaching efforts at Davidson College led the team to its most successful season in years, with multiple wrestlers earning RPI Rankings and NWCA All-Academic Team honors. Ty’s coaching experience also includes managing and operating J Robinson Intensive Camps in Minneapolis.

Both Luke and Ty have made significant contributions to the sport of wrestling, and their induction into the Hall of Fame is a well-deserved honor for their dedication and achievements in the sport.
